Carl Russell's enduring account of human events in Yosemite was originally published in April, 1932, the title referring to the century that had passed since 1833. In 1947, Dr. Russell brought out a revised version, making use of source material that had come to light since the publication of his original work 15 years before, the new edition quickly becoming a popular favorite with Yosemite visitors. This new softbound edition, featuring corrections and annotations, is published by the Yosemite Association. 270 pages.
