Ahwahnee Hurricane Candle Cylinders
Finally, the extremely popular Ahwahnee hurricane candle cylinders are available online! These are the same handcrafted cylinders seen in the hallway between The Ahwahnee's great fireplace and dining hall. Crafted of blown glass by Colombian artisans, each cylinder displays distinctive characteristics ensuring that each is unique. Hurricanes come in two size categories, regular (large) and mini, with small, medium, and large sizes available in each category.
Candles are not included with purchase, but a cleverly designed burnished metal insert is included providing a stable internal platform for your candle. Since this insert is removable, you can fill the bottom with potpourri, decorative stones, or your favorite visually striking seasonal filler. Or, you can remove the insert and use the cylinder as a distinctive vase for flowers.
