My National Parks and Monuments Photo Journal

This is a fun, interactive photo album and scrapbook that will engage kids from about ages 5 to 12. Give them a camera and let them have fun taking pictures of "something green," an animal or bug, the park's Visitor Center, family and friends. Then turn the camera around and take a photo of them with a park ranger -- there's even a place for the ranger to sign the book under where the photo will go. Other journaling areas encourage your child to write down what they would do if they ran the park for a day, good and bad things put in the park by people, and creatures found on your trip.
